You’ve just passed your driving test. What’s the maximum authorised mass (MAM) of any trailer that you can tow?

Explanation: When you pass your driving test, you're allowed to tow a trailer up to 3,500 kg MAM without taking an extra test.
If you want to tow a heavier trailer, you'll have to pass either a CE or DE category test, dependent on the towing vehicle.
