National speed limit sign

The National Speed Limits apply. For cars and other smaller vehicles, this means that the limit is 60 miles per hour on single carriageways, and 70 miles per hour on dual carriageways and motorways. For larger vehicles, goods vehicles and trailers, the speed limits are 10 miles per hour lower.
