Morden Theory Test Centre Directions

The testing area is located on the second floor of Athena House. The building entrance is sandwiched between ‘Gallant’ hair salon and Andrew Estate Agents, roughly 20m down from the main station access point.

Car

Morden’s testing venue is located within Athena House on London Road, towards the northern end of the borough. Morden is located in south London, situated in between Wimbledon and Croydon. The borough is accessible via the A297 and A24, with the latter offering a direct route towards the test centre. The M25 motorway loop can also be used to provide onwards travel to Morden.

Parking

There are several car parks in close proximity of the venue. Based on price and convenience, we would recommend using one of the following two parking sites:

York Close Car Park is located approximately 300m south of the test centre, which equates to around a four-minute journey on foot. A two-hour parking ticket is priced at £2.40, and will ensure enough time coverage to head to the venue, conduct your test, and return to your vehicle. Payment should be made via the RingGo service line. Please note that disabled spaces are available at this site.

Morden Station Car Park is roughly the same distance away, however heading in the opposite direction. All-day parking is charged at £5.00, which can be paid for via card, or using the PayByPhone service line. Disabled parking is also accommodated at this site.

Bus (& Tube)

There are multiple bus services that have scheduled stops nearby the test centre. Please note that the Athena House complex is also home to Morden Bus and Underground stations, and therefore travelling via bus or tube will facilitate extremely easy onwards travel to the venue.

Plenty of local routes head directly to Morden Bus station, so we would encourage you to use one of these transit lines. However, if using a service which doesn’t stop here, please head for either any of the bus stops on London Road, or alternatively Windermere Avenue (Crown Lane), all of which are within a few minutes walking distance of Athena House.

Morden Underground Station is positioned at the terminus of the Northern Line, and is the most southerly-based station on the London Underground.

Train

The nearest train station to the test centre is Morden South, located just under a kilometre south of Athena House. The station welcomes passengers from various parts of London and its immediate outskirts. To access the test site from here, simply head north on the A24 (London Road); after roughly 800m, the venue will be visible on your left-hand side.

There’s also the option of using London’s tram network, with the nearest stop situated on Morden Road, approximately 800m north of the test site. This stop is on the Wimbledon – Beckenham Junction/Elmers End line.
