Croydon Theory Test Centre Directions
Please note that the entrance to Suffolk House is located between the Business Support Centre and the Minicab.com office. The building itself is unmissable on arrival, stretching from College Square to the west end of College Road.
The testing area sits within Suite 6, on the building’s first floor.
Car
Croydon is a large town situated in the southern outskirts of London. Its test venue is located within Suffolk House, which is just to the south of Croydon town centre. The town is accessible via the A232, which can be easily reached via the M25 ring road.
Please note that despite Suffolk House’s George Street address, the building entrance is positioned on College Road.
Parking
There are plenty of parking sites in close proximity to the test centre. In terms of parking duration, we would recommend securing two hours of parking coverage, which will allow, in the case of any local car park, enough time to conduct your test, and journey to and from your vehicle.
Croydon Central Car Park is a short, four-minute walk away from Suffolk House, and offers a two-hour parking ticket at a reasonable cost of £6.20. Please note that all payment types are accepted, as well as the Your Parking Space service line, which facilitates phone transactions. Disabled spaces, and electronic vehicle charging, is available at this site.
There is also a suitable car park located on Hazeldean Road, which is approximately 500m from Suffolk House. Parking is noticeably cheaper at this site, charging just £3.40 for a two-hour ticket. However, please be aware that payment can only be taken via the RingGo phone platform.
For alternative local car parks, please visit Parkopedia.

There are multiple routes that head towards Croydon town centre, and therefore by extension, pass nearby the test venue. For a full list of appropriate services, please click the following link.
Whichever transit line you opt for, it would be convenient to arrive at one of the following bus stops:
Dingwall Road, East Croydon Station stop, Whitgift Centre, Park Street. All of these stops are within a five-minute walking distance of Suffolk House.
Train
Although Croydon is too far out of central London to be incorporated into the city’s underground tube network, this area of South London does inhabit a tram line. The Wimbledon – Beckenham Junction service includes a drop-off at George Street tram stop, which is located just over 300m west of the test site.
The nearest train station to Suffolk House is East Croydon, which welcomes regular services from across southern England. To reach the test venue from here, please exit the station and turn right on Billinton Hill. Advance westbound on George Street, before dropping down onto College Road.
Information on live arrival & departure times, available facilities, and station accessibility can be found here.
