Bradford Theory Test Centre Directions

The venue itself sits on the second floor of Auburn House, within Suite 1. The main entry point for the building is the doorway located on the apex of Upper Piccadilly and Piccadilly. Please note that the site is opposite Shares Property Auctions.

Car

The venue is located in Bradford city centre, a short distance from Bradford Forster Square Train Station. The test centre is within Auburn House, on Upper Piccadilly. The A1677 ring road loops round Bradford and provides access to the city centre from all directions, whilst Leeds and Harrogate roads offer direct routes into the city from the east.

There are a number of parking facilities close to the test site. We’ve highlighted a couple below, but alternative options can be found at the following Parkopedia page.

Salem Street Car Park

This car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. However, please be aware that there are only 29 spaces available here. Therefore, it’s also worth taking note of the other facility provided below. Parking charges are as follows:

  • 2 hours = £1.20
  • 4 hours = £2

If planning to extend your stay in Bradford beyond your testing slot, please note that 10-hour (£4) and overnight (£1) tickets are available. Should you opt for overnight parking, please ensure you enter the car park after 6pm, and exit before 8pm.

Parking can be paid for via cash, or using the RingGo service line. To pay by phone using this platform, call 01738650000, or text 81025. In either case, quote Location ID, 21500.

The venue is a short, four-minute walk away from this car park. Head out of Salem Street, before progressing southbound on Manor Row. Turn right in Upper Piccadilly. Auburn House will be located on your left-hand side, on the corner of Piccadilly and Upper Piccadilly.

Bradford Forster Square Car Park

This train station car park has a flat fee system for parking, with customers only needing to pay £4 for an all-day ticket. This price is reduced on a weekend. However, the test centre does not operate on a Saturday or Sunday. Nevertheless, if you decide for any reason to use a train service whilst parking at this site, ticket costs are significantly decreased to £0.50p.

Again, you’ll be able to pay by cash or phone (using RingGo platform). Contact numbers are the same, but the Location ID(s) clearly changes. If you’re not planning to use the rail network, please reference Location ID, 35729. If you are, please use 357404.

Although Bradford Forster Square station is just a stone’s throw away from the venue, you’ll unfortunately need to leave via the stations lengthy exit route, adding some extra time onto your journey. After navigating this exit, turn right on Cheapside and progress northbound towards Upper Piccadilly. Turn left; the venue will be roughly 20m up on your left-hand side.
