Bethnal Green Theory Test Centre Directions
Once you’ve turned off Cambridge Heath Road, you can walk straight into our main gate (big brown gates) located straight ahead after the Hare Row underpass. This gate also has an Intercom.
The test site is located opposite ‘Containerville’, and is situated within a modern, light-grey building. On arrival, please press the ‘DVSA’ marked buzzer, and head to Ground Floor where the theory test area is located.
Lockers are available upon request.
Car
Bethnal Green is a borough of east London, accessible via the A11. If approaching the area from outside of London, it may be most appropriate to the M25 ring road to facilitate onwards travel into the city.
The test venue address cites Corbridge Crescent as its base, however the building is located just beyond this road, on ‘The Oval’.
Parking
Unfortunately, as is often the case in London, parking options are limited. There is some on-street parking on Cambridge Heath Road (the closest main road to the venue), but finding a space on test day shouldn’t be taken as a guarantee. The nearest, dedicated parking site is around 1.5km away, and therefore requires a lengthy connecting journey to the test centre. Bus
There are numerous bus routes that pass in close proximity to the test centre, with scheduled stops on Cambridge Heath Road facilitating easy onwards travel to the venue. All of the stops located towards the north end of this road are within five minutes walking distance of Corbridge Crescent, as is Mare Street Victoria Park Road stop.

Train
Bethnal Green tube station, which operates as part of the Central Line, is around one kilometre south of the test site. To access the venue from here, simply head northbound on Cambridge Heath Road, before turning left on Hare Row and continuing under the railway arch (further guidance on reaching the test centre to follow in the appropriate section below).

Cambridge Heath Overground station is situated roughly 500m north of the tube station, and therefore merges with the aforementioned route to the venue. This station welcomes passengers from various boroughs of London, and offers direct services to the city’s major train stations.
